Privacy Policy

AI Knowledge Base is operated by BookAI Studio, a DBA of BrightSpan Holdings LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the service collects and how it is used.

Information we collect

Account information from Google sign-in (name, email address, profile image). Content you provide to build your knowledge bases: uploaded files and documents, web URLs you ask us to fetch, and questions, answers and notes you type into the service. Your queries in the playground and the answers generated for you. Payment information is collected and processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

How we use information

To create and operate your knowledge bases, answer your queries with citations from your own sources, manage credits and billing, prevent abuse, and improve the service. Content you add to a knowledge base is processed by our AI provider (MuAPI) solely to embed, index and answer questions about that content.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service: MuAPI (AI processing), Stripe (payments), and Google (sign-in). We do not sell personal information.

Retention and your choices

Knowledge bases and account data are kept while your account is active. You may delete knowledge bases in the product, and you may request deletion of your account data through the contact options on bookaistudio.com. Deleting source content removes it from your knowledge base.

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Last updated: October 23, 2026.
